Celebrate Catholic Schools Week 2012

Sunday, January 29:   Open House from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Great opportunity to visit our school and see how we center our learning environment on faith, academics, and service.

Sunday, January 29:  Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Delicious pancakes and more.  Adults: $5, Children under 10: $3.  Download the order form and pre-order today!

Monday, January 30: “Sound Body and Mind”.Students should wear outfits that promote healthy choices and wellness. This could include favorite teams, activities, sports, hobbies, or the like.

Tuesday, January 31: “Hats ON to Service” Day. Students in grades Pre-K through 5 should wear or make hats that promote service to others.  These hats could include hats promoting philanthropic organizations or service professions.  Students may also dress in outfits that honor or pay tribute to those in service professions.

Students in grades 6-8 will travel to various non-for-profit, human service agencies in order to offer Christian service and support to those in need.

Wednesday, February 1: Special Persons” Day.  Students may invite an important or influential person in their lives (grandparent, aunt or uncle, older sibling, neighbor, etc.) to join us at school that morning for Mass and a reception. 

Thursday, February 2: “Saints in the Making”. Students should dress as their patron saints or favorite saints, or as clergy/religious in order to celebrate vocations to ordained or religious life.

 Friday, February 3:  “Spirit Day”.  Students will wear their school team uniforms.  The pep assembly is scheduled to start at 1:30, when we shall introduce teams and celebrate their achievements thus far.  Additionally, the traditional volleyball game between the 8th graders and the faculty will take place.
