Peach Festival Parade InformationPeachers

Welcome back!  The school doors here at St. Peter’s may just be opening for the school year, but already we’re planning for our first H.S.A event.  The Peach Festival parade is on Saturday, September 11th.  Each year, St. Peter’s enters a float in Lewiston’s biggest parade.  We need your help to make the float the best    ever!  Already, we’ve got some serious talent on board to help us show our school spirit.  Let’s make this year’s entry the peachiest yet!  Here’s what we need:

1.       First, we need parents and middle school students to help us decorate the float.  Please let us know if you can join us at 8:30 am in the school parking lot to help get our float ready to go in time for lineup.  Please bring scissors and tape!

2.       Second, we need our wonderful students on board the float and marching along side, representing our school. In order to participate, you’ll need to be at the school no later than 9:20 AM.  Couple of things to note:

3.       Cheerleaders: We’d like you in uniform for this event-please see your coaches to get your vest and skirt.

4.       Pre-K through Grade 2: You’re welcome to join us-but please be sure to have a parent with you! Parents- the parking lot becomes VERY BUSY prior to the parade, so we are asking for your help in keeping an eye on your child(ren).

5.        Grade 3-8: If your parents are not planning to march with us, we need them to be sure to:

~ sign you in and out

~Leave a number at which they can be reached during this time.

6.       ALL STUDENTS MUST BE IN SOME ST. PETER’S ATTIRE.  That can include:

                        ~Polo shirts

                        ~Gym Clothes

                        ~Sports uniforms

Please, no jeans, halters, short shorts, cut offs, etc…

REMEMBER- YOU ARE REPRESENTING OUR SCHOOL!!!  Please dress accordingly.

If you have any questions about this event, please contact the school at 716-754-4470; they'll put you in touch with the right person.

We look forward to seeing you at the parade!
