
The following scores reflect the number of
students that met or exceeded the NYS testing requirements as
reported in the Buffalo News for Grades 4 & 8 (Benchmark Grade
Levels).
There are four levels of proficiency:
Level 4 = exceeded the standards
Level 3 = met the standards
Level 2 = partially met the learning standards
Level 1 = serious academic problems
All Level 2 Students are provided Academic Intervention services
at St. Peter Roman Catholic School, we have no Level 1’s. This
year we tested students in Grades 4 and 8 in ELA and Math.
Parents will receive their child’s Individual Student Report for
ELA & Math in July.
GRADE 4 ELA
Level 4 = 8 out of 24 students achieved a 4.
Level 3 = 14 out of 24 students achieved a 3.
GRADE 8 ELA
Level 4 = 3 out of 21 students achieved a 4.
Level 3 = 15 out of 21 students achieved a 3.
GRADE 4 MATH
Level 4 = 4 out of 24 students achieved a 4.
Level 3 = 18 out of 24 students achieved a 3.
GRADE 8 MATH
Level 4 = 5 out of 21 students achieved a 4.
Level 3 = 14 out of 21 students achieved a 3.

Level 4 = 8 out of 19 students achieved a 4.
Level 3 = 11 out of 19 students achieved a 3.

Level 4 = 15 out of 24 students achieved a 4.

Level 4 = 13 out of 21 students achieved a 4.

Earth Science Exam – 19 out of 21 students passed
the exam.

passes the exam.
